Derrick’s (aka Squanch) new Enkei NT03+M Wheels

Aggressive fitments, hellaflush, wrong fitment, whatever you call it is becoming a hot trend right now, and Apollo Performance is leading this trend in Southern California. Danny, our head technician, is pretty keen on offsets, widths, and stretched tire fitments. If you have a wheel that will be a bit extreme, Danny will make it work (one way or other).

Derrick ordered a set of Enkei NTO3+M racing wheels from Apollo Performance. The sizes are 18×9.5 +27 offest in the front and +40 offest in the rear sporting a 225/40/18 tire.

First, we have to make sure it clears the suspension.

As you can see, there’s a fender roller thanks to Albert (fender rolling services available at Apollo Performance via Albert!). Some fender rolling was needed to clear it out since Derrick wanted to go lower in the front.

Here’s the roller in action.

At Apollo, we don’t scratch wheels! Never have Gino or Danny dinged up, chipped, or scratched a wheel! How do they do that? Well, they take their time with your wheels! Even if you have HRE Wheels or Rotas, they’ll make sure that your hard earned money is well taken care of. Here’s Gino gingerly installing a valve stem on Derrick’s new Enkei NT03+M wheel.

The other front side needed some rolling as well. Albert used his skill to finely roll it.

With the loud pops of the bead setting in, the wheel and tire stretch looked like so:

Here’s Danny installing the wheels on to the STi. Again, being very careful.

Final product! Looks great! Derrick will also be lowering the rear by an inch pretty soon. But still, looks great! Best of all, NO RUBBING!
